Plate of Knowledge – Quiz with Tasting

This "gastro quiz" is an interactive and fun experience that combines food tasting with knowledge challenges from the world of gastronomy. The program can be held in a selected restaurant in Varaždin or at another location by arrangement. The duration of the program is 2 to 3 hours, and it can be organized as a standalone event or as part of lunch, a reception, or dinner.

Participants, divided into teams, test their ability to recognize flavors, culinary knowledge, and resourcefulness through a series of tastings and themed questions. During the quiz, teams taste selected dishes and ingredients, trying to identify hidden components while simultaneously answering questions related to domestic and international cuisines, spices, wine regions, and culinary techniques. Points are awarded based on correct answers and successful flavor recognition, and the atmosphere is competitive yet relaxed, encouraging teamwork and collaboration.

Tasting part of the program

The tasting content can be tailored to participants' preferences – from simple tastings (e.g., spread, pastry, cake) to a full multi-course meal. Drinks such as rakija, beer, wine, or non-alcoholic beverages are also included. Each team can share one plate using small tasting plates, or each member can receive their own plate. The program is held in various restaurants, so food prices may vary depending on the location and menu. The minimum estimated cost for the tasting part of the program is €15 per person (including food and drinks).

Program price

• base price for the quiz part – €20 + VAT per person (for groups of 15 to 30 people)
• surcharge for the tasting part from €15, depending on the number and type of dishes agreed upon
• Prices for smaller or larger groups available on request

• Prizes for winning teams (e.g., bottle of wine, souvenir, gourmet gift) – from €40 + VAT
• Music entertainment, an animator, or a themed costumed host – from €80 + VAT per hour
• Inclusion of a culinary workshop before or after the quiz – on request
